Barton released Terry Barton, the woman locally infamous for starting the Hayman Fire in 2002, was released from federal prison June 1 after serving six years for arson. Originally sentenced to six years in federal prison and 12 years in state prison, an appeal cut her Colorado sentence to six years, which she served concurrently with the federal sentence.

Last of the Tenants Vacate Medley Centre

A lot of packing is going on at the Medley Centre. The last remaining tenants were seen cleaning up and moving out of store fronts Tuesday night. Store owners learned back in October they might have to vacate the mall in anticipation of construction on a mix-use project.
